It's super easy to use and beautifully designed. I just wash the baby bottles and other stuff, then load it in the Wabi Baby. It sterilizes and dries whatever is in there. When I am in a pinch and need the bottles fast, there's a 30min quick option, but I like to use the 50 minute one.
It has two levels: the first is great for bottles and the green Dr Brown's bottle vents that I hang through the grooves; the second is perfect for the nipples, rings, and other things like pacifiers. I also keep the bottles stored in the Wabi Baby and occasionally use the quick zap setting to keep them sterilized.
It is a bigger unit but I needed a product that could grow with my baby. There's plenty of clearance using Dr Brown's 4oz bottles, and I believe enough for the 8oz too. I live in an apartment so space is at a premium, so I put it was on top of the fridge.
The bottom line is that this one machine makes my life a breeze. I still have to wash up the bottles, but I have freed myself from the hassle of trying to sterilize the parts. I would recommend this product to any new parent without question.
1. We have roughly 3.5’ of kitchen counter space that’s already filled up with our favorite cooking contraptions. All of our other drawers and cabinets are chock full, too. So to accommodate all of the breastfeeding/baby gear, I also purchased a cart for the Wabi to sit on (see photo). I had a really hard time tracking down the actual dimensions. Amazon and other vendors just list the shipping box size. FYI, the assembled Wabi measures 16” tall x 15” deep x 11.5” wide. So far, I’m thrilled to have a super organized baby station where my husband and I can grab and go with the supplies we need for assembling a day’s worth of bottles, restocking the diaper and pump bags, pacifiers, etc. More importantly, this means our extremely limited counter space or other apartment surfaces aren’t cluttered up with bottle and pump parts waiting to dry. I use a collapsible baby-gear-only dish bucket to give everything a good, quick wash in the sink, pop everything into the Wabi for the 70 minute dry/sterilize cycle, and then drop everything in the organizer below, some bits in sealed ziplocks for extra peace of mind. Easy cheesy and nicely contained in an already space-limited kitchen!
2. The real reason I got this is because my husband and I have different understandings of “clean” and going into the sleep-deprived days with a newborn, I knew there would be a big crazy fight if I went through washing breastfeeding gear, had it drying on the counter, and then found coffee grinds on a pump part or bottle nipple when I went to use it at 2am. World War III! Wabi can have all of my money if it means we get to avoid ridiculous zombie arguments because after five years of trying, hubby just doesn’t see the mess and I’m probably not going to have a rational response while juggling a hungry kiddo and more washing in the middle of the night. We’re all human, plan accordingly!
That’s my two cents and I’ll update after a few months when it comes time to change the bulbs and when we’re in the full daycare routine but so far, this might honestly be one of the purchases I‘m most relieved I made.
Update:
Well, I never made it back to give an update because… kids. And a pandemic. But here I am, two children deep, and this is still a core baby item that I recommend to anyone who will listen. It’s had a combined 2+ years of at least daily use and we never needed to swap out the bulbs. Any time we travel and I’ve had to play bottle-part-Jenga and then still needed to hand dry every component even though they had been out for 8+ hours, I’m almost as happy to come home to the Wabi as I am my own bed. For Baby #2, we’ve been in a totally different home with more counter space and it’s had a happy little spot on a table in our kitchen. This time, I skipped the cart and just let things hang out in the Wabi until I needed them. There’s the quick sterilizing light cycle if you feel the need. Helpful accessories this time around were a stainless steel wire basket that fit perfectly on top of my stainless steel roll-up sink topper. Soap everything up on the topper, washed off items into the wire basket, and then one trip across the kitchen to load up the Wabi. I’m sure that’s a super obvious hack (is it even a hack?) but when you’re on limited sleep and juggling too many schedules, maybe someone could use that logistical assist.
So, was the Wabi worth the money. YES, to the moon and back! Were the 25 different swaddles or electronic bassinet that never worked for either child? Nope. Not a one. Why did I keep trying. Lesson learned: Splurge on the thing that you’re going to use for the entire first year, not the first month.

It fits a whole lot. I put my glasses, remote controls, my IPhone, scissors, and keys in and pushed the sunlight button and it counted down the 5 minutes and it was so satisfying to not need to use cleaning products to sanitize (We are in the middle of Covid-19 and there are NO cleaning products available, so anything else that sanitizes is such a blessing.)
It is symbolically perfect. Push the sun-shaped button to get rid of the sun-shaped virus.
Just don't hit the button for drying while your cell phone is in it and remember to turn your cell phone off before turning it on.
