Unboxing & First Impressions
The Zomee W1 arrives in a sturdy, well-organized box with each component neatly packaged.

Inside the box, you’ll find:
- Two wearable pump units
- Milk collection cups
- Flanges and inserts
- USB charging cable
- Valves, diaphragms, and tubing-free connectors
- Cleaning brush
- User manual and breast/nipple ruler

Right out of the box, the pump feels solid and thoughtfully designed. The controls are clearly labeled, and assembly is straightforward even for first-time pump users.
First impression: functional, well-built, and refreshingly uncomplicated!
Fit, Comfort & Wearability
Comfort is one of the W1’s biggest strengths.
The breast shields are soft and flexible, and the pump sits securely inside a standard nursing bra.

During longer pumping sessions (20–30 minutes), the pump remained comfortable with no pinching or excessive pressure.
The added warmth noticeably reduced discomfort during initial letdown, especially for users prone to clogged ducts or slow flow.
Bonus! If the shields included with the pump (24mm shields are included) do not fit your body, Zomee will send you a free pair in whatever size you need!
Comfort rating: 9/10.
Suction Strength & Milk Output
The W1 offers hospital-grade suction with multiple expression and stimulation modes.
In our testing, milk output was comparable to, and in some cases exceeded, that of traditional breast pumps.
We consistently experienced efficient emptying in under 25 minutes, which is impressive for a fully wearable pump.
Milk output rating: 9/10.
Warming Feature Assessment
This is where the Zomee W1 truly differentiates itself.
The built-in warming function gently heats the breast area, promoting circulation and faster letdown. For many users, this reduced the need for pre-pumping massage or warm compresses.

We found the warmth subtle but effective; it's never hot, but always comfortable.
Perfect for the colder months and moms with more sensitive breasts and nipples.
Does research demonstrate that warming the breast benefits letdown and milk volume? Yes!
- A study published in Breastfeeding Medicine showed that warming the breast prior to pumping increases expressed milk volume relative to non-warmed breasts (Yigit et al., 2012).
- A study involving mothers of preterm infants recently found that warm compression and breast massage increased expressed milk volume and helped reduce anxiety (Mollaahmetoglu & Guvenc, 2025).
Warming feature rating: 9.5/10.
Noise Level & Discretion
The W1 is quieter than many budget wearables, producing a soft hum that blends easily into everyday environments.
It’s discreet enough for pumping at work, in the car, or around others.
Noise rating: 9.0/10.
Control Panel & App
To help keep the price low, the Zomee W1 doesn't have an app.
Instead, it uses a simple control panel that is both intuitive and easy to access while pumping.

Buttons and displays include:
- Power button (press and hold to turn on or off).
- Warming button (press and hold to turn warming on or off).
- Pumping mode button (same as the warming button, press quickly to cycle through the four stimulation modes).
- A plus sign button to increase pumping intensity, and a minus sign button to decrease pumping intensity.
- A light button that will shine lights into the reservoir so you can track how much you've expressed (press and hold to turn lights on or off).
- The display has an intensity indicator (1-12), a timer, an indication of what pumping mode you've selected, and an indication of whether the warming feature is active.
- The display also has a battery life indicator that shows you when the battery is full, or at 67% life or 33% life.
The unit automatically will cycle through the following pumping modes: stimulation mode (2 minutes), expression mode (8 minutes), 2-phase mode (20 minutes), and then power down automatically.
At any time, you can press the pumping mode button to change modes manually.
We did appreciate that the pump has memory - when you turn the pump on, it will automatically cycle through the mode and suction level you last used.
Downfall? Doing the long-hold presses on the buttons can be difficult because the buttons are so small, especially when you're wearing the pumps.
Control panel rating: 8.0/10.
Battery Life & Portability
On a full charge, the W1 delivers approximately 4–5 pumping sessions.
USB charging makes it travel-friendly, and the lack of tubing or external motors adds to its portability.
Battery rating: 8.5/10.
Cleaning & Maintenance
The pump disassembles into a manageable number of parts and is easy to clean by hand.

Most components are dishwasher-safe (top rack), which is a big plus for busy parents.
Cleaning rating: 8/10.
Safety, Materials & Certifications
The Zomee W1 is made from BPA-free, food-grade silicone and plastic materials.
It meets FDA standards for breast pumps and follows established safety guidelines for materials in contact with breast milk.
Zomee has a long-standing reputation in the breast pump space, particularly in hospital and clinical settings.
Safety rating: 9/10.
Comparison to Other Wearable Pumps
Zomee W1 versus Elvie: The Zomee has stronger suction and a warming feature, but it's a bit bulkier and has no app-based control.
Zomee W1 versus Eufy E20: The Zomee has stronger suction and is more comfortable, but only has one warming level (Eufy has 3).
Zomee W1 versus Willow: The Zomee is easier to clean and more affordable, though a bit less discreet while worn.
Zomee W1 versus Momcozy: The Zomee has better build quality and milk output, but at a slightly higher price.
Value & Cost
The Zomee W1 is priced well below premium wearables while delivering performance that rivals them.
For parents who want effectiveness without a $500+ price tag, it offers excellent value at under $200!
Value rating: 9/10.
Our Conclusions
The Zomee Mother’s Nature W1 Warming Wearable Breast Pump is an excellent choice for parents who want strong performance, real comfort benefits, and great value.
The warming feature isn’t just a gimmick, it meaningfully improves letdown and comfort.
While it lacks smart app features, it makes up for it with simplicity, reliability, and milk output.
We give the Zomee W1 a confident 4.5 out of 5.0 overall, and consider it one of the best value wearable pumps currently available.
