Bellini Juno Stroller Review - Hands-On Test
Beautiful fabrics, great maneuverability, and an easy fold make the Juno appealing, but there are some real compromises.

The Bellini Juno is designed to work as both an everyday stroller and a travel companion. Its advertised auto-fold, four-wheel suspension, compact footprint, and upscale materials sound promising, so we put those claims to the test!
Let's see how it performed!

Our Bellini Juno Stroller Review
The Juno made a terrific first impression: the fabrics are wonderfully soft, the stroller is surprisingly nimble with a toddler aboard, and folding it takes very little effort. But there are a few limitations to consider.
✔️ Luxurious fabrics.
✔️ Plush seat pad.
✔️ Nimble, easy steering.
✔️ Easy one-hand fold.
✔️ Large 6.25" wheels.
✔️ Four-wheel suspension.
✔️ Extendable canopy.
✔️ No-rethread harness.
✔️ Machine washable seat pad.
✔️ Adjustable leg rest.
✔️ Cup holder included.
✔️ Comfortable leatherette trim.
✔️ Compact fold.
✔️ Included bumper bar.
❌ Constrained storage.
❌ No car seat compatibility.
❌ No lay-flat or near-upright seat.
❌ Self-standing fold can tip over.
❌ No parent pocket.
The short version: an impressively comfortable and maneuverable stroller for older babies and toddlers, with meaningful storage and newborn-use limitations.
How We Tested
We unboxed and assembled the Juno, inspected its construction, measured the wheels, seat, handlebar and folded footprint, tested its adjustments, and pushed it outdoors with our two-year-old. We also examined both the front and rear suspension components.
Our goal was to determine whether it deserves a spot on our list of the best travel strollers of the year.

Here are the law label and frame label for reference:
Unboxing & Assembly
The Juno arrived in a small box weighing about 20 pounds, pictured here.
Part of the space savings comes from packing the wheels separately rather than attached to the frame.
Looking inside, we found the folded stroller surrounded by generous cardboard and foam protection:
The stroller came wrapped in clear plastic, as shown below.
Unlike some travel strollers, it does not include a reusable fabric travel bag.
Assembly was simple: attach the two front wheels, two rear wheels, and bumper bar.
The included manual explains the process clearly; here are all the parts laid out:
About two minutes later, the Juno was ready to go.
Its minimalist shape and clean styling look great from every angle, as seen here:
Build Quality, Seat & Harness
Materials are among the Juno’s strongest features. The canopy fabric and seat pad feel smooth, soft, and plush for a travel stroller.
Bellini also keeps the branding tasteful: on the seat cushion, bumper bar, and frame, as pictured here:
The removable, machine-washable foam seat pad is thick and inviting.
This close-up shows its cushioned construction:
The five-point harness is easy to adjust, and the large center buckle releases with one hand.
Here is a close-up of the buckle:
Shoulder-strap height adjusts without rethreading the harness behind the seat, a welcome detail as children grow.
The adjustment is pictured here:
Our two-year-old fit comfortably. The seatback measures 19.75 inches tall, with 23.5 inches of canopy clearance.
Here is the little guy seated at the most upright setting (which is still reclined by about 40-degrees from upright:
Canopy, Recline & Ventilation
The canopy has two standard fabric panels and a third extension that opens with a zipper.
You can see the zipper here:
Fully extended, the canopy provides generous coverage, as pictured below:
A peekaboo window near the parent-facing edge makes checking on your passenger convenient:
The extension panel also incorporates mesh for welcome airflow, shown below.
Unfortunately, the seat itself has no rear or side ventilation panels.
The rear recline adjustment is operated with a pull-style lever, as shown below:
We measured about 130° at the most upright setting and 160° fully reclined.
That is a comfortable range for relaxing, but the seat never sits truly upright or lies completely flat.
Here is the deepest recline (we measured it at about 20-degrees higher than flat):
The leg rest has three positions (flat, partly lowered, and fully lowered) and changing it requires pressing buttons on both sides.
All three positions are pictured here (flat, then partly lowered, then fully lowered):
For taller toddlers, a lower solid-plastic footrest near the wheels provides additional support, as seen below:
Storage, Brakes & Extras
At first glance, the storage basket seems reasonably spacious: we measured about 16 × 12 × 8 inches, or roughly 0.9 cubic feet.
But a crossbar restricts the rear access opening to about 5.5 inches tall, making larger items awkward to load. See the basket here (and horizontal crossbar):
Even more limiting, the printed basket label allows only 3 pounds of cargo.
That is unusually restrictive for a stroller intended for everyday errands, as the label confirms:
The central rear brake is much better: quiet, positive, and easy to operate.
Here is the pedal, followed by a photo showing how it is pressed to lock the rear wheels:
We also appreciate that a flexible cup holder is included rather than sold separately.
It accommodates bottles of different widths, as pictured:
There is no parent storage pocket, however, and the 40.25-inch-high handlebar cannot be adjusted.
Infant Car Seat Compatibility
The Juno is intended for children 9 months and older.
It has no newborn carriage mode, cannot lie completely flat, and Bellini does not list any approved infant car seat adapters or compatible infant car seats.
It should not be treated as a newborn travel system.
| Car Seat Brand | Car Seat Models |
|---|---|
| None | No infant car seats are approved or listed as compatible with the Bellini Juno. |
Folding, Carrying & Air Travel
Folding (the "auto-fold" feature) is very easy.
Press the thumb release and squeeze the handle latch, then the Juno collapses under its own weight using one hand.
Unfolding is similarly straightforward: no dramatic forward flick is needed to lock the frame open.
Here is the folding control:
The folded stroller is designed to stand on its rear wheels and two small support legs, as shown here.
In practice, it sometimes falls over unless the front wheels are angled correctly:
This close-up shows one of the small support legs intended to steady the folded stroller:
The bumper bar becomes a convenient carrying handle when folded, and we could carry it by hand or over a shoulder (less comfortably).
You can see that configuration here:
There is a trade-off: with the bar attached, the folded stroller measures approximately 32 inches long.
Removing it shortens the package to 22.75 × 21.25 × 10 inches, better for tight trunks or some overhead bins, but the detached bar becomes one more thing to carry.
We did not test the Juno inside an airplane; always check aircraft bin dimensions and airline rules before counting on cabin storage.
Outdoor Performance
On pavement and sidewalks, the Juno is a joy to push. It feels very lightweight even with a heavier toddler on board, turns tightly, and steers easily with little effort.
The 6.25-inch wheels we measured are on the larger side for this category and help the stroller roll over pronounced sidewalk cracks without stopping as abruptly as smaller-wheeled models sometimes do.
We also confirmed suspension hardware at both ends. A spring is visible inside the front wheel hub, pictured below:
At the rear, the suspension assembly visibly flexes when we press down on the frame, as shown here:
Together, the wheel size, suspension, and easy steering make this a compelling compact everyday stroller, though we would not describe it as all-terrain.
Consumer Sentiment
The Juno earned Parents’ 2025 Best Everyday Stroller recognition and appeared among Good Housekeeping’s 2025 Parenting Award winners.
Bellini’s website also features very positive customer ratings. Independent owner feedback is less extensive, however, and at least one public discussion raises questions about the upright recline and canopy.
Our own testing confirms that the upright angle is quite laid-back, although we liked the extended canopy coverage.
What Could Be Improved
1. The basket is much less useful than it looks. The access bar blocks bulky items, and the 3-pound weight limit rules out many packed diaper bags.
2. It is not newborn-ready. There is no infant carriage mode, fully flat recline, or approved infant car seat compatibility.
3. Folding has a couple of quirks. The stroller may tip when standing folded, and the bumper bar must be removed to achieve the smallest folded dimensions.
4. Some conveniences are missing. The leg rest takes two hands to adjust, the handlebar is fixed, and there is no parent pocket or seat-back ventilation.
5. The most upright seat position is still a bit too reclined. We measured approximately 130°, which some toddlers may find too laid-back for sightseeing.
Our Conclusions
There is a lot to love about the Bellini Juno. Its fabrics feel luxurious, the plush seat and no-rethread harness are well-designed, the canopy gives good coverage, and its maneuverability is outstanding.
We especially appreciate the easy one-handed fold and relatively generous-diameter wheels for a compact stroller.
Its drawbacks are also meaningful, as listed above.
At its $479.99 list price, we would expect more. For example, the new Mockingbird Travel Stroller (which we review here) is less expensive and doesn't have any of the above limitations.
Overall, we think the Bellini Juno is a very good premium compact stroller for older babies and toddlers, especially if steering, comfort, and easy folding matter more than storage capacity or newborn use.
It is better suited to everyday errands and occasional travel than to families seeking an all-in-one stroller from birth.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Bellini Juno be used from birth?
No. Bellini specifies use from 9 months, and there is no approved newborn carriage mode or infant car seat attachment.
Can a car seat attach to the Bellini Juno?
No, there is no adapter and there are no compatible infant car seats.
How much does the Bellini Juno weigh?
Bellini publishes both 17 and 17.8 pounds in its product information, we measured the weight at 18.5 pounds on our scale (with the seat pad, bumper bar, cupholder, and wheels attached).
Does it fit airplane overhead bins?
Our folded sample measured 22.75 × 21.25 × 10 inches with the bumper bar removed and 32 inches long with it attached. Fit and cabin acceptance depend on the aircraft and airline; we did not perform an onboard fit test.
Does it recline flat?
No. Our sample reclined to about 160°; its most upright position was approximately 130°.
How much can the storage basket hold?
The basket measures approximately 16 × 12 × 8 inches, but its label specifies a maximum load of just 3 pounds. The opening is also restricted to approximately 5.5 inches high.
Does the Juno have suspension?
Yes. We inspected a front spring and a flexible rear suspension component, and the stroller rolled and steered smoothly during outdoor testing.
Is the handlebar adjustable?
No. Our sample had a fixed handlebar height of approximately 40.25 inches.
Does it include a travel bag?
No reusable fabric travel bag was included with our sample; the stroller arrived in protective plastic.
