We spent several days testing the Momcozy TuckGo Travel Stroller with a 14-month-old boy, pushing it indoors, outdoors, over cracked sidewalks, across cobblestone, and through normal everyday scenarios.

Spoiler alert! The TuckGo is a reasonably strong lightweight travel stroller, especially if your priorities are low weight, easy maneuvering, a roomy toddler seat, and a compact fold. But there might be better options out there.

Full disclosure: Momcozy was generous enough to give us a sample stroller for testing. We do not believe, however, that this biased our review.

The TuckGo is designed to compete in the increasingly crowded lightweight travel stroller category, where parents want something that is compact enough for trips but comfortable and capable enough for everyday use.

On paper, it checks a lot of the right boxes: a lightweight frame, a compact fold, a travel bag, a large canopy, an adjustable leg rest, a reclining seat, four-wheel suspension, and a roomy storage basket.

Is it worthy of a spot among the best travel strollers? Let's find out.

Important note: This review is for the Momcozy TuckGo Travel Stroller, also known as the Momcozy ST03 lightweight travel stroller.

Momcozy TuckGo Travel Stroller Review

Based on our hands-on review, we give the Momcozy TuckGo Travel Stroller a decent 4.3 out of 5 stars.

Overall Impressions

Most parents don't have time to read through this entire article, so here's the quick version.

We think the Momcozy TuckGo has a lot going for it, especially for travel-focused families:

✔️  Lightweight 14 pounds.
✔️  Compact travel-friendly fold.
✔️  Included storage and travel bag.
✔️  Easy and intuitive assembly.
✔️  Spacious seat area.
✔️  Large UPF 50+ canopy.
✔️  Peek-a-boo window.
✔️  Three-position recline.
✔️  Adjustable leg rest.
✔️  Adjustable five-point harness.
✔️  Easy-open bumper bar.
✔️  Four-wheel suspension.
✔️  Low rolling resistance.
✔️  Highly maneuverable.
✔️  Stable over uneven surfaces.
✔️  Convenient foot brake.
✔️  Decent under-seat storage basket.
❌  Finicky unfolding mechanism.
❌  Recline is not close to lay-flat.
❌  Not for newborns.
❌  No parent organizer, phone pocket, key pocket, or cup holders.
❌  Not quite as compelling as the Mamazing Ultra Air for weight, accessories, or value.

Overall, we think the Momcozy TuckGo is a well-rounded, easy-to-love compact stroller.

It feels more substantial and capable than many cheap travel strollers, but it still stays light enough to carry, lift into a trunk, or bring along for travel.

Our biggest hesitation is that the unfold mechanism was more finicky than we expected. Folding was easy, but unfolding usually took us two tries before the frame locked fully open.

That was annoying, especially because some competitors in this price range are now getting very good at one-handed fold and unfold mechanics.

About Momcozy

Momcozy has become a popular baby and parenting gear brand, especially for wearable breast pumps, bottle washers, bottle warmers, nursing bras, baby monitors, baby carriers, and now strollers.

The TuckGo sits in Momcozy's on-the-go category and is designed as a lightweight compact stroller for travel, errands, and everyday adventures with babies and toddlers.

It is positioned as a practical, mid-priced travel stroller with many of the features parents want without getting into the highest premium price tier.

Hands-on Review of the Momcozy TuckGo Travel Stroller

The TuckGo arrived in a compact box that was easy to move around the house.

Our box weighed about 18 pounds and measured about 21" long, 19" high, and 11" thick.

Inside the box, the stroller was packed in the included fabric storage and travel bag.

We always appreciate when a travel stroller includes a bag because it makes storage, trunk use, and travel days more manageable.

Full Feature List

The Momcozy TuckGo packs a surprising number of features into a stroller we measured at exactly 14 pounds.

Here are the main features we found:

✔️  Compact travel-friendly fold.
✔️  Included storage and travel bag.
✔️  Large UPF 50+ canopy.
✔️  Peek-a-boo window with magnetic closure.
✔️  Spacious seat for a compact travel stroller.
✔️  Three-position recline.
✔️  Adjustable leg rest with two positions.
✔️  Five-point harness.
✔️  Padded crotch strap.
✔️  Removable shoulder pads.
✔️  Easy-open bumper bar.
✔️  Four-wheel suspension.
✔️  Foot-operated rear brake.
✔️  Under-seat storage basket.
✔️  Easy front and rear basket access.
✔️  Suitable from about 6 months to 50 pounds.

That is a decent list for a stroller that typically sells around the mid-$200 price point.

Assembly

Assembly was very easy and intuitive.

There are only two basic steps: attach the four wheels and attach the bumper bar.

It took us about 5 minutes at the most, and most parents will probably get it done even faster.

Our only assembly tip is to unfold the stroller frame a bit before trying to attach the wheels.

That gives you more space to access the wheel attachment points, especially near the rear of the frame.

The wheels snapped into place easily and felt secure once attached.

The second step is attaching the bumper bar:

Once the wheels and bumper bar were installed, the stroller was ready to use.

Things We Loved

A few things stood out immediately during testing.

  • The TuckGo is lightweight without feeling flimsy.
  • The seat is wider and roomier than we expected for a travel stroller.
  • The canopy is large and offers excellent coverage.
  • The stroller was easy to push and turn, even with a 14-month-old riding inside.
  • The four-wheel suspension helped smooth out uneven sidewalks and cobblestone.
  • The included travel bag adds real value.

At exactly 14 pounds on our scale, the TuckGo is not the absolute lightest compact stroller we've tested, but it is still very easy to lift, carry, and maneuver.

It felt substantially lighter than many full-size strollers, while still feeling more capable than the bare-bones umbrella strollers you might find at a lower price.

The fold button is located on the handlebar and requires two motions.

First, press the smaller red button with your thumb, then squeeze the larger red latch with the rest of your hand.

That releases the stroller for folding or unfolding.

Folding the stroller was easy once we learned the motion.

Unfolding was less impressive, which we'll cover more in the annoyances section.

Travel Friendliness

The TuckGo is clearly designed for travel.

It folds compactly, includes a travel bag, and is light enough for most parents to lift into a trunk, carry up a short flight of stairs, or manage during airport travel.

We always recommend checking your airline's stroller and carry-on policies before flying, because overhead bin rules and gate-check policies vary.

That said, this is exactly the type of stroller we would consider for family travel, city trips, theme parks, restaurants, hotels, and quick errands.

The included bag is especially useful for keeping the folded stroller cleaner in the trunk or when stored between trips.

Comfort & Features

The TuckGo's comfort features were better than we expected for a compact travel stroller.

The seat is surprisingly spacious, and our 14-month-old test child seemed comfortable both indoors and outdoors.

The five-point harness was intuitive and easy to use.

The large circular button in the middle releases both sides of the buckle, and all five harness straps are adjustable.

There is nice padding on the crotch strap and removable pads on the shoulder straps.

The canopy is another highlight.

It is large, smooth to extend, and provides good sun coverage for a compact stroller.

The canopy is labeled UPF 50+, which is exactly what we like to see on a stroller designed for travel and outdoor adventures.

At the top of the canopy, there is a large peek-a-boo window.

We liked that it uses magnets to stay closed and can also be secured in the open position.

That makes it easy to quickly check on your baby or toddler without walking around to the front of the stroller.

The leg rest has two positions: down and up.

Here it is in the down position:

And here it is in the up position:

The leg rest is especially useful for younger toddlers, shorter legs, and nap attempts.

We also appreciated the three-position recline.

The recline is easy to adjust using the strap mechanism on the back of the seat:

The recline is good enough for resting, relaxing, and short stroller naps, but it is not close to lay-flat.

That matters if your child regularly naps in the stroller or if you are shopping for a stroller for a younger baby.

The under-seat storage basket was also better than expected.

It is not huge like a full-size stroller basket, but it is very usable for a compact travel stroller.

We liked that it can be accessed from the back and also from the front when the leg rest is raised.

Ride Quality & Maneuvering

This was one of the strongest parts of our testing.

The TuckGo was easy to push, easy to turn, and very maneuverable in tight spaces.

Rolling resistance was low, and the stroller never felt like a chore to steer.

Outdoors, it handled cracked sidewalks and cobblestone better than expected for a lightweight travel stroller.

We think the four-wheel suspension deserves some credit here.

Here is the rear wheel suspension:

And here is the front wheel suspension:

Of course, this is still a compact travel stroller, not an all-terrain stroller.

We would not choose it for deep gravel, heavy snow, sand, or rough trails.

But for sidewalks, airports, stores, restaurants, hotels, theme parks, and normal town or city use, the ride quality was very good.

The foot brake was also convenient and easy to use.

It was easy to engage and disengage, and it is positioned where most parents will expect it to be.

Small Annoyances

No stroller is perfect, and the Momcozy TuckGo has a few drawbacks worth mentioning.

First, the stroller is easy to fold, but it was a little finicky to unfold.

In our testing, it usually took two tries to get the frame to lock fully into the open position.

At the end of our review video (below), we demonstrate this little issue.

That was not a deal-breaker, and it was not as frustrating as some strollers we've tested, such as the Peg Perego Ypsi, but it still stood out as the biggest everyday annoyance.

Second, there is no parent storage.

There is no parent cup holder, no child cup holder, no phone holder, no key pocket, and no organizer included.

That feels like a missed opportunity because travel strollers are often used in exactly the situations where parents want quick access to a phone, keys, water bottle, wipes, tickets, snacks, or sunglasses.

Third, the recline is good but limited.

It only adjusts between three positions and does not get close to lay-flat.

For an older baby or toddler, that is probably fine, but if stroller naps are a huge priority, you may want something with a deeper or more adjustable recline.

Finally, the TuckGo faces some very strong competition.

For example, the Mamazing Ultra Air stroller is about 3 pounds lighter thanks to its carbon fiber frame, includes additional convenience features, has an easier fold/unfold mechanism, and is usually cheaper.

That does not make the TuckGo a bad choice at all, but it does make the value comparison more complicated.

Overall Conclusions

The Momcozy TuckGo Travel Stroller is a very good compact stroller with a lot of strengths.

It is lightweight, easy to push, highly maneuverable, stable over normal uneven surfaces, and surprisingly spacious for a travel stroller.

We loved the large UPF 50+ canopy, peek-a-boo window, adjustable leg rest, five-point harness, four-wheel suspension, simple assembly, and included travel bag.

Our 14-month-old test child seemed comfortable in the seat, and the stroller felt very practical for real-world outings.

The biggest drawback is the unfolding mechanism, which was more finicky than we hoped.

We also wish Momcozy would include at least a basic parent organizer or cup holder, especially at this price point.

Overall, we think the TuckGo is a strong choice for families who want a compact stroller that feels comfortable, capable, and travel-friendly without jumping into the highest premium price tier.

It is not our absolute top value pick in the category, but it is easy to recommend for parents who like the Momcozy brand and want a lightweight stroller with a roomy seat and smooth ride.
